Welcome

I am a researcher at Mathematica, with broad interests in evaluating policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of people with low income. I conduct randomized control trials and utilize quasi-experimental methods to answer policy-relevant questions about how interventions and policies affect people with low income. Some specific topic areas I work on include employment coaching, the supplemental nutrition assistance program, and the earned income tax credit. My research has been published in the public domain in various forms, including in peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Human Resources and Social Science & Medicine.

Prior to working at Mathematica, I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Michigan and worked as an assistant professor of economics at California State University Northridge. I hold a PhD in economics from Georgia State University.
